Membership Types and Annual Dues

Full Membership

Full membership is open to any registered, sell-side national securities dealer active in the fixed income capital markets. Prospective members must complete an application for membership and agree to the mission and principles as offered by the BDA board of directors. Membership dues are tied directly to fixed income revenue with a minimum and maximum cap.

Associate Membership

Associate memberships are available to technology providers, law firms, rating agencies, credit enhancers, GSEs and others with direct business interests in national fixed income. Associate members of BMA receive many, but not all, of the same benefits as full members: Member rates at conferences and events; 20% discount on sponsorships and exhibits; logo and web link placed on BMA home page; BMA committee participation—excluding executive committees.

Membership allows BMA members to collaborate and network on issues of unique interest to national dealers. The product of this collaboration is then presented to key federal regulators and policy makers to ensure improved efficiencies for the U.S. domestic fixed income markets.

Annual Dues

BMA dues for full members are based on trailing year, gross fixed income revenue with minimum and maximum annual caps. Associate member dues are a flat rate based on overall fixed income market presence. For more information on membership, please contact us.
